Tv Suggestions for the fall

I’ll tell you what. The show “The Vampire Diaries” doesn’t quite cut it. It’s not as good as True Blood!  However, if you’re craving some vampire-excitement, you should check it out. So far 3 episodes have been aired, in the US. I think True Blood is more interesting because it’s all about the unnatural.With that I mean that the center is about the Vampires and shapeshifters, and all the rest. Whereas The Vampire Diaries is more a teen-show with vampires. See the difference? Also, I think that one of the main characters in TVD is too alike Angel in Buffy and the Vampires.  Which bugs me a little too much. It’s like the people in the tv-business decided that’s how a vampire who likes humans is supposed to look like. I think I need to see a few more episodes before I decide whether it’s a show to look out for or not.

 

Right now I’m brushing up on Heroes. I accidently missed a lot of episodes a year (or two) ago, and is therefore waaay behind. Another show I just started to watch is “Glee“, which is a new – and pretty amusing show about the drama department at a high school in the middle of nowhere. A lot of singing and teenage drama as well as adult drama involved. But it’s with a twinkle in their eyes and a lot of heart. For us who have been scarred for life by HSM (ie all AP) this is a must! Also, I’m just going to  watch the first episode of “Cougar Town” (Courtney Cox’s new show) to see if it’s any good. I hope so, I miss Monica!! As for other teenage-drama shows the remakes of “90210” and “Melrose Place” are filled to the brim with drama drama and yeah, a little more drama.  But I still watch them! I’m so happy “Gossip Girl” is back on Mondays. I was even more thrilled when I saw one of my old buddies, Tasha Courtney (Actress/Model), in the second episode of the new season.

Tonight the premiere episodes of two of my fav shows: “Dexter” and “Californication“  airing. I’m so excited!!! Moreover, I’m glad “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is back, but I’m a bummed that tonight is also the second-to-last episode of Entourage airing. I hate when I have to wait for 6-12 months to see new episodes. That’s why I like to let shows air for a few weeks before I get into them, so I can see a lot of episodes in a row..
