Free outdoor concerts on the banks of Delaware River all summer long

The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing is home to free, alfresco concerts on Friday nights, and certain Saturdays, all summer long. From jazz to gospel to R&B, the Summer Concert Series has something for every music lover.

Gospel Celebration (June 2 8)

Traditional gospel music and contemporary gospel music come together for a concert that is sure to lift spirits as voices are raised in song. Come down to the Waterfront on Saturday, June 28 at 6 P.M. for a truly joyful musical event.

Bank of America Sounds of R&B Series (July)

Philadelphia is the home base of many major contemporary R&B artists. The Sounds of R&B series features well known and critically acclaimed national recording artists who are either from Philadelphia or have worked with Philadelphia-based music producers and artists. Each Friday in July (except July 4) will feature a different performer.

The Bank of America Sounds of R&B series gets an early start this year when it opens with Philadelphia native Kevin Michael (June 2 8) and keeps the music coming strong with Fertile Ground (July 11), Frank McComb (July 1 8) and closes out the concert series with Ledisil and Lalah Hathaway (July 25).

TWJJZ Smooth Jazz Summer Nights (August)

The sounds of local and national Smooth Jazz artists will fill the air every Friday night in August at 7:30 p.m.

The concert series will feature Warren Hill (August 1), Everette Harp (August 8), Maysa (August 15) and Nick Colionne (August 22) before closing out the summer season with Gerald Veasley, Walter Beasley and Chuck Loeb (August 29).

Vet ni vad??? Jag va pa Jon Bon Jovi’s konsert igar - GRATIS!! Anna Banana skulle gatt med mamma Anna o hon blev magsjuk stackarn. Da ringde Anna till mig o vips va jag pa vag till konserten med hog musik strommande fran radion.

Efter att ha tagit en liten roadtrip efter att vi missade den daligt skyltade avfarten kom vi antligen fram. Hade en lapp for VIP parkering sa vi fick snabbt en ruta att stalla bilen i.

Vi hade platser pa fjardebank pa sidan, sa vi sag sjuuuukt bra! Daughtry va forband o de va skitbra! Varldens stamning i konserthallen!

Sen kom sa Bon Jovi in. Det va jakligt maktigt maste jag saga! Stod o dansade o skrek a hade allmant kul!

Vad tror ni hander sen??

Jon Bon Jovi himself kom ut o stallde sig i publiken!! Tva meter ifran mig o Anna!!!!! Ville ringa o beratta vad jag holl pa med for papi, men eftersom det var mitt i natten visste jag inte hur mycket det skulle uppskattats..

Det var iaf en sjuk upplevelse som jag alltid kommer minnas! Har alltid hort Bon Jovi sen jag va liten. Sa det har va stort! Wish u could’ve been there daddy!
